Zyfra Oy ("Zyfra”) takes your privacy matters very seriously. This Privacy Policy (“Privacy Policy”) details how Zyfra receives, collects and uses personal information in connection with our website zyfra.com ("Website") and Zyfra’s services and products. Purpose of Processing Personal Information

The purpose of Zyfra’s processing of personal information is to:


  1. provide the Service to the user;

  2. ensure an efficient and secure use of the Service;

  3. provide customized Service and other content recognizing user specific needs and interests;

  4. improve, develop and analyze our Service and other Zyfra’s business activities;

  5. manage customer relations, as well as to provide good customer service; and

  6. conduct research and collect statistics;

Zyfra will retain your Personal Data only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy. Zyfra collects personal information on persons who use the Service or if the collection of personal information derives from a legal obligation. Most of the personal information is collected from the data subjects themselves when the user fill in registration, feedback, contact and other forms through the Website, and/or uses the Service, such as their names, phone numbers, e-mail addresses, position, company name, etc. Updates to the personal information may also be received from authorities, organizations, companies offering updating services, public directories and other public sources of information.

In the event Zyfra makes message boards and forums available to users (collectively, "Forums"), users will be solely responsible for the information and any other content you post on and through these Forums and should be aware that when you voluntarily disclose personal information (e.g. name, e-mail address, telephone number) on or through these Forums, such information is generally accessible to, and may be collected and used by, other users. This may result in unsolicited messages from third parties, and such messages are beyond our control. Zyfra does not exercise control over any users or Website visitors, and in no way is Zyfra responsible, nor does Zyfra have any liability whatsoever, for any collection or use of information you may disclose through the Forums. This Privacy Policy does not cover such disclosure of information. You are encouraged to exercise discretion when providing personal information about yourself in and through Forums. Please do not post any personal information on the Website that you expect to keep private.


Information Zyfra Collects

Zyfra may collect the following Information from you when you create a user account and/or use the Service. By voluntarily providing us with personal information, you are consenting to our use of it in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

  • Company Information (email address, telephone number, mailing- or visiting address)

Usage and other Non-Identifiable Data:

We cannot currently use this information to identify you. It is important to note that no personal information is available or used in this process.

Aggregated Personal Information and other Information:

In an ongoing effort to better understand and serve our users, Zyfra conducts research on user demographics, interests and behavior based on the personal information and other information provided to us. Zyfra compiles and analyses this research on an aggregate basis, and may share this aggregate data with partners of Zyfra. This aggregate information does not identify you personally. Zyfra may also disclose aggregated user statistics in order to describe our services to current and prospective business partners, and to other third parties for other lawful purposes.


Zyfra also collects information regarding the use of Service in order to better understand user behavior and trends, detect potential outages and technical issues. All log analysis is done in an anonymous, aggregate, non-personally identifiable manner.



Regular Destinations of Disclosed Data and The Transfer of Personal Information to Countries Outside of The European Union or The European Economic Area

Zyfra may disclose the personal information within the limits of the applicable

legislation. Personal information may be disclosed to co-operation partners chosen by Zyfra for their marketing purposes, unless the data subject prohibits such disclosure of his/her data. The recipients of such personal information are not allowed to disclose the personal information further.

The confidentiality of the personal information may be broken when required by law or statute, or by ruling of authority.

Due to the technical and practical requirements, some of the personal information may be processed by subcontractors located outside the European Union or European Economic Area or at the subcontractors’ servers outside the European Union or European Economic Area. If any personal information is transferred outside the EU or EEA, Zyfra will ensure that the country to which the personal information is transferred is approved as having a sufficient level of privacy protection by the European Commission, or by using standard contractual model clauses approved by the European Commission.


The Principles of Securing the Data Register

The security of your data is important to us, but remember that no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your Personal Data, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.


Only appointed personnel of Zyfra and of companies operating by Zyfra’s assignment or on behalf of Zyfra are entitled to use personal information. All persons processing the personal information have a personal right of use granted by Zyfra.

You may at any time contact Zyfra to check that the personal information related to you is accurate. Upon your request, Zyfra will modify, remove or supplement any incorrect, unnecessary, incomplete or outdated personal information.

The request to must be made in writing to Zyfra and it must be signed. The request for right of access can also be presented in person in the main office of Zyfra at the address Pasilankatu 2, 00240 HELSINKI, Finland.

The user has the right to prohibit Zyfra from processing his/her personal information for purposes of direct advertising, distance selling, other direct marketing and market research and opinion polls.

If you no longer wish to receive e-mail communication from Zyfra, such as offers, updates and newsletters, you may opt-out of receiving such communications by following the instructions included in each newsletter or communication.


ACCESS TO YOUR INFORMATION, CORRECTION, PORTABILITY AND DELETION

Subject Access Request?

You have a right to request a copy of the personal information that we hold about you.  If you would like a copy of some or all your personal information, please email or write to Data Controller.  We will respond to your request within one month of receipt of the request.

We want to make sure your personal information is accurate and up to date. You may ask us to correct or remove information you think is inaccurate by emailing info@zyfra.com or writing to the above address.

Objections to processing of personal data

You have a right to lodge an objection to the processing of your personal data if you feel the “ground relating to your particular situation” apply. The only reasons we will be able to deny your request is if we can show compelling legitimate grounds for the processing, which override your interest, rights and freedoms, or the processing is for the establishment, exercise or defense of a legal claims.

Data Portability

You have a right to receive the personal data which you have given to us, in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format and have the right to transmit that data to another controller without delay from the current controller if:

(a)    The processing is based on consent or on a contract, and

(b)    The processing is carried out by automated means. 

Your Right to be Forgotten

Should you wish for us to completely delete all information that we hold about you, please email or write to our Data Controller.

You may withdraw your consent for processing of your personal data. As the processing of your personal data is necessary in order for us to be able to provide you with our Services, revoking your consent may lead to a situation in which we cannot provide you with some or all of the Services.




Cookies, Clear Gifs and Other Automatically Collected Data

Analytics Collection

Zyfra may use website analytics, such as Adobe Analytics and Google Analytics to gather anonymous statistics about the users of the Website with the aim to improve the Website. If Zyfra uses such analytics, it will provide the user an opt-out function to indicate that you do not want Zyfra to track your visits to Website.



Children's Privacy
